The symmetrical oval shape makes the Oxan easy to handle, allowing optimal loading of the carabiner in a wide range of situations. The design also allows Oxan to be connected to Petzl’s Captiv bar to keep the carabiner in ideal position, limiting the risk of it flipping and ensuring it remains integrated with the device. Two locking systems are available. Firstly, the automatic Triact-Lock system, with triple-action gate opening.
