Slings
The main sling body has a 26mm diameter, making it easy to grab hold of and pull on when working routes. This tapers to 16mm at either end, to securely hold carabiners in the optimum orientation for loading. Supplied with a rubber keeper that keeps the rope end carabiner correctly orientated for easy clipping.
DMM Nylon slings offer far greater durability, shock absorption, cost effectiveness and even a higher melting point than their Dynatec counterparts.
These thin 8mm DMM Dynatec Slings are just as strong as their thicker variants. They can be used for narrow thread protection and to generally reduce weight. See the product description below for lengths and colours.
Dynatec has several advantages over traditional nylon webbing. It has a higher strength-to-weight ratio, is less susceptible to UV degradation and has greater abrasion resistance, making Dynatec an ideal material for creating lightweight quickdraws. It also absorbs less water than nylon – an important consideration for winter climbing. The sling's slim profile allows it to be used for narrow threads and to sit better on marginal spike placements.
The different lengths and their colours

This is the strongest tape in our range. It might not have some of the weight advantages of the skinnier Dynatec slings, but if you are looking for a sturdy, hard wearing sling, this is it.
