The guidebook covers almost 2,700 routes across 58 crags, split into four distinct areas: the sandstone quarries of the Valleys, the beaches and cliffs of Gower, inland and coastal limestone around Cardiff and Swansea, and the remote sea cliffs of Carmarthenshire.
Each crag is introduced with a description of its character and aspect, along with location maps and approach information, all set out with Rockfax's clear photo-topo layout. This 2024 second edition adds around 950 routes over the previous version, reflecting how much development has taken place across the region.
