Petzl Spin S1 Single Pulley
The Petzl Spin S1 Single Pulley features a compact design for maximum simplicity in setting up haul or load deviation systems and tensioned highlines for work at height and technical rescue. When weight and size are important factors, the S1 has got you covered. Its triple-action opening of the moving sideplate is quick and easy, even with gloves. Thus, the rope can easily be installed with the device connected to the anchor. Moreover, the S1's red indicator provides a visual warning when the moving side plate is unlocked, minimising human error. The side plate is also specially designed to protect the rope path. Furthermore, the mid-size diameter sheave is mounted on sealed ball bearings. As a result, the efficiency of the pulley is optimised. Lastly, the S1's swivel facilitates operations. For instance, the swivel allows the pulley to be oriented under load. This means that ropes or slings can be threaded for easier rigging in all directions. It also allows most carabiners to rotate, meeting European standards.
