Petzl Reverso Belay Device
The lightweight Petzl Reverso is an exceptionally versatile belay/rappel device. This is all you need for epic excursions rock climbing, mountaineering and multi-pitch climbing. Belay climbers from the harness loop or in guide mode, or use it to get your rappel on! Furthermore, in Reverso mode, this belay device can be used to belay one or two seconding climbers. As a result, the Reverso becomes an indispensable part of any competent lead climber’s kit. Additionally, the intelligently designed rope channels promote smooth rope glide and reduce rope wear. Finally, the Reverso is compatible with most rope diameters. In summary, here's a comprehensive list of the Reverso's outstanding features:
- Feeding slack and catching falls are accomplished using standard belay techniques. Remember - always keep your brake hand on the brake side of the rope!
- Smooth gliding of rope through the belay device,
- V-shaped friction grooves enable controlled braking during the climbing process
