Edelrid Pinch Belay Device
The Edelrid Pinch Belay Device is an assisted breaking device perfect for sport climbing, multi-pitch climbing and rope access. Designed to attach to an anchor at 4 different angles in 90° increments allowing for versitle multipitch belaying. The Pinch also features an removable antipanic feature, perfect for those new to belaying with an assisted breaking device while also not hassling experienced and professional users. The main innovation of the Pinch however is its ability to attach to the belay loop of a harness directly, increasing the rope span than can be adjusted by the belayer while eliminating the risk of crossloaded carabiners. While the pinch can be used without a carbiner, it works just fine with one, adding to its versitility.
