DSM Rig 12
As the name suggests, the DSM Rig 12 is a 12 strand Dyneema®
SK78 single braid. It features a PU Coating for improved protection against abrasion and the elements. This low stretch line is very easy to splice and is ideal for halyards, control lines, lashings and strops. Dyneema®, the world’s strongest fiber™, is respected as the premium brand for Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMwPE). Many ropes are produced using Dyneema®
fibres including single braids and double braids. These different types of Dyneema®
fibre are used to produce ropes for specific applications.
