Rock Climbing Protection
Simply put, these are the best nuts on the market. They fit where other nuts won’t go, these really are a must for every climbing rack no matter your standard of climbing. The only improvement we can think of is we wished the colour coding of the alloy nut, was reflected in the markings near the wire loop for even easier identification.
What DMM say
Despite their simple appearance, Wallnuts are highly featured pieces of climbing hardware. Different alloy is used for each size - smaller Wallnuts are made from a harder alloy to prevent shearing, while larger sizes are softer so they can bite into placements. Larger Wallnuts feature hollow construction to reduce weight. Wallnuts can be placed in two different orientations, allowing a single nut to cover a range of cracks. They are tapered across both their face and sides, helping them sit better in cracks that are rarely parallel sided. Grooved faces reduce weight, help the nut seat better in cracks, improve security in shallow placements, and resist lifting out when a leader moves past them. DMM Wallnuts are mounted on wires that are stiff enough to allow overhead placements, while flexible enough to reduce the chance of lifting out. They are colour coded to correspond with the rest of our protection range, and to give quick and easy selection of the correct size from your harness.
In an ideal world the leader places protection with some thought to how easy it will be to retrieve for their second. In reality this rarely happens, and nut keys are invaluable for retrieving jammed gear...
The Wild Country Rockcentric collection are a combination of the best ideas behind the trusty old Hexentric with added Rock geometry.
The Wild Country Pro Nutkey with Leash is adaptable and easy to use. The tip of the Pro Key is precision ground for nut removal even in tiny slots.
This Wiregate Nut Tool is your go-to solution for those tricky gear placements on route. Designed with a wiregate for easy racking, it clips securely to your harness, ensuring it’s always within reach.
Torque Nuts can be used to protect parallel sided cracks. Their shape means they can be used in multiple orientations, giving you a wide range of placement options with every piece. Lightweight aluminium alloy construction means that despite their low weight, each Torque Nut has a 14kN strength rating. An extendable sling lets you reduce rope drag without extra quickdraws, and can be replaced with DMM's in-house re-slinging service. Torque Nuts work in all conditions. They are especially useful in winter, when icy cracks cannot be protected with cams. However, Wired Torque Nuts are more resistant to accidental axe strikes and easier to control placing above your head. Click

Introducing the DMM Bulldog 2: the premier drive-in anchor designed to excel in a range of demanding winter placements. Enabling placements in frozen turf and mud, or in icy cracks, the Bulldog 2 offers unparalleled strength and versatility.
The DMM Vault Lock is a secure and durable tool holder that can be used on everything from harnesses and kit bags to vehicles.
DMM Peenuts have the same asymmetrical taper as Alloy Offsets, allowing them to protect flared and irregular shaped cracks more effectively than symmetrical nuts. Their large surface area helps dissipate forces, making them suitable for protecting fragile rock.

Alloy Offsets protect irregular and flared cracks that regular nuts cannot. Every size of Alloy Offset has a robust 12kN strength rating. The wires they are mounted on are set into a recess to reduce wear, while larger sizes have holes that reduce weight.
The dual axle, single stem design of the DMM Dragon Cams gives them 360° flexibility and a huge expansion range. This design helps increase performance in sub-optimal placements and ensures you select the right piece every time. The hot-forged thumb press of the these DMM Cams reduces fumbling from gloved hands and pumped fingers, ensuring stable handling when you need it most. Another advantage of the innovative design of these DDM Cams is their ability to accommodate an extendable sling without any impact to strength. This reduces the number of quickdraws needed to extend any placement, reducing the weight of your rack. DDM Dragon Cams use advanced lightweight aluminium alloys to keep weight to a minimum without impacting the impressive active and passive strength; even the smallest 00 size Dragon Cam features active strength of 10kN while weighing as little as 75g.
Dragonfly Micro Cams provide versatile protection for narrow cracks and pockets. The size 1 Dragonfly is the smallest certified climbing cam. The six cams in the range cover placements from 7.8mm – 28.3mm.
Single wire lightweight nuts that increase your protection options. Halfnuts excel in shallow placements, pin scars and situations where every gram counts.
IMP's let you take advantage of the smallest and most marginal placements. Nut heads are made of brass, allowing them to bite into small placements but making them strong enough to resist pulling through. These are soldered directly on to wires, allowing a thicker wire to be used and increasing the strength of the IMP. The swage on the wire is colour coded for quick size selection and allows one side of the wire to slide, letting the IMP self equalize when loaded and increasing placement security. IMP's are invaluable for those pushing into harder grades and need to take advantage of all protection options.

Brass Offsets are crucial for protecting small flared cracks, often fitting perfectly where nothing else will go. The brass used for the head of the nut is soft enough to bite into placements, but hard enough to resist deforming and pulling through. Wires are soldered directly into the nut head, allowing a thicker wire to be used and increasing overall strength. The colour coded swage gives easy size selection and allows the Brass Offset to self equalise when loaded, making the most of marginal placements.
The DMM Protection Pack contains a selection of the most wicked passive protection. This bundle makes the perfect starting point for building a comprehensive climbing rack.
Friends are the most iconic protection ever made. Throughout their 43 year tenure, although the construction has changed, their essence remains the same.
